Current Incidents - October 13th Storm
October 13th, 2025 Storm:
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Gifford and Madre Fire burn scars. Due to the potential for high rates of rainfall in the upcoming storm, we may see localized flooding and debris flows.

Risk Area:
The areas most at risk in SLO County are the Gifford and Madre Fire burn scars and downstream areas. Although the greatest risk for debris flows are within the burn scars, there is the potential for other areas of the county to see debris flows and flooding in low lying areas.
