PG&E has issued a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Warning for parts of Northern San Luis Obispo County in San Miguel. The Warning is in place due to a forecast for high winds and dry conditions in the area. The estimated shutoff start time is Thursday 6/19 at 10:00 am with power restoration estimated for Saturday 6/21 at 8:00 pm.  Some areas may not have restoration until closer to midnight.    A second Public Safety Power Shutoff is scheduled to begin...

Last week’s Boil Water Notice in South County was a reminder to make sure you understand how you will be alerted about an emergency.
Due to potential bacterial contamination in the water supply a Boil Water Notice was required to be put in place by the state. Residents of San Luis Obispo County are encouraged to “know your evacuation zone” as part of the launch of a countywide evacuation planning project.
