These registration options are through Optum and not managed by the county.  

Please have your insurance card available when you register, if you have insurance.  Please write down your patient identification number, you will need this to select an appointment time.  You will need to provide a cell phone to get a verification code.  Please note, it may take the code a few minutes to come through. 

This test is free of charge.  You will not be charged a co-pay, but your insurance will be charged.  If you don't have insurance, you won't be charged at all. 

You can also call 1-888-634-1123 Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm to schedule an appointment.  However, if you can register online, please do so.  We have received reports that the phone line has long wait times.

Who Is Eligible to be Tested?

Testing is now open to ALL residents whether or not you are exhibiting symptoms. 

Testing is highly recommended for the following persons:

  • Healthcare workers, first responders, and other social service employees
  • Persons 65 years of age or older
  • Anyone with a chronic medical conditions that increase the risk of severe COVID 19 illness 
  • Residents or employees of congregate care living facilities
  • Essential workers, such as utilities, grocery, food supply, public employees etc. 
  • Anyone exhibiting one or more symptoms of COVID-19

 How Do I Register for a Test?
You can register online here or you can register by phone at 888-634-1123 Monday thru Friday.  These registration options are through Optum and not the county.  
How Much Does the Test Cost?
The test is free of charge. Insurance information will be gathered when you register but no co-pay is required. You do not have to have insurance to be tested.
 What Do I Need to Bring to My Appointment?
 Please bring your driver's license/identification card, if you have one.  
 How Long Will the Appointment Take?
 The appointment will take approximately five minutes.  
 Do I Need to Wear a Mask?
 You do not need to wear a mask.  
 How and When Will I Receive My Test Results?
If you registered online, you will be provided a card by the clinician taking your test with information on obtaining your results.  If you registered via phone, you will receive a phone call from Optum.  If your test is positive, you will also receive a phone call directly regardless of how you registered. Results are usually received between 4-7 days. 
Can I be tested more than once? 
Yes, you can be tested more than once. If you decide to re-test, the best practice is to wait at least two weeks. We do not encourage frequent testing, especially if you do not have symptoms.
